Wreckreation started life as Dangerous Driving 2, and seems to be a mix between Burnout Paradise's open world and GTA V's stunt races. I personally think it's quite mediocre, but it's good to scratch an itch if you're desperate.
There's quite a few opinions on it out there, but most vary from lukewarm to bad even after the bugs got patched, and a lot of people on this subreddit feel quite burned by it. Unfortunately the game released in quite a buggy state. TFE was founded by Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry, who worked on Burnout 3 and sequels in lead positions within Criterion (Fiona was Head of Criterion and Alex was Director of Design for Burnout 3). The closest is probably Dangerous Driving, which was made by Three Fields Entertainment.
